I mean, I like the word “folks”. Ironically, I think I use it most often when talking about people in the trans community. I tend to say “trans folks” because saying “transgenders” obviously sounds terrible, and “trans people” sounds impersonal.

Haters gonna hate. While gathering signatures at the rally today I had one woman deeply offended that I would even consider primarying a democrat.
Also, what’s this dumb idea that we can’t support trans rights and also the working class? Idiot.
