Well if it reassures you, I've only heard one very young kid get a little scared since we opened and it lasted 10 seconds before they were happy again. Kids are really loving the show and make up a good percentage of the audience. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

There are lots of photos in the foyer of us as ourselves and in character so you can show him that. And a big cardboard cut-out where he can pose to be all the different characters to help him understand that we're pretending. Maybe come early enough for him to experience all that before.

This was my Std 8 or 9 film study in English. I've watched this and Men in Tights so many times that it's caused a hybrid film in my mind where Blinken and Tracey Ullman appear in both versions.
