Survivors are, by and large, forced to do all of this on their own. It's impossible and another form of injustice in and of itself. Justice for survivors requires all of us. It isn't something that can be outsourced to any system or an institution.

Survivor Justice will require all of us to disempower abusers and to restrict their access to their victims. To make sure that survivors' voices are heard and to protect them when their stories are shared. To transform the material roots of survivors' oppression.

I appreciate your working towards expanding access to the vaccine and I really hope that your campaign is successful. I had been trying to do the same for the COVID vaccine as well

Both the fights for survivor justice and for COVID justice are the same fights for epistemic justice in the face of the discrediting and silencing power of sanism and ableism.

And it's interesting how the SAME sanist reasoning that is being used to deny the reality of COVID is also what's used to deny survivors credibility. If you do not believe what disabled people have been telling you about COVID, then I cannot believe that you truly support survivors either.

All while suicide remains criminalised, so that people can't even access their last moments peacefully.

Like. Imagine if we actually listened to survivors. And stopped giving abusers, all abusers, access to even more power.
