I'm not against someone who has been convinced becoming president. What I don't support is someone with convictions who refuse to accept responsibility for his/her actions. Trump is too self-centered to accept any wrongdoing.

Not to mention, life in prison is much cheaper for the government than the death penalty. The government has to allow for appeal after appeal and, in most cases, has to pay for the person's attorneys. And that gets extremely expensive.
