I rode to a random town today. I stopped for a coffee and bio break at a gas station.

And to my surprise, the restroom of this gas station had a helmet shelf for riders. ❤️❤️❤️ It is a thoughtful detail.

10/10 definitely will "go" again 😂

After dinner practice, 64*64 world as I remember it without using any reference images.

After lunch practice, this time same object, a pill, in different sizes. Namely 16*16, 32*32, 64*64 pixels, I also started a 128*128 but my tablet screen is not big enough for a newbie to work on such dimensions.

I am not an artist, but I like pixel art games. So I decided to learn more about how to design. I enjoyed the process a lot.

A small airfield merely 50km from the home. The road there is going through a forest patch, which makes a great ride.

After 6 years of break to riding, it feels great to feel like a part of the community. Hailing other riders, the wind, the fresh smell of Thymian and trees.

I was lucky to have this R12 Nine T as my training motorcycle during the BMW Ride Again training. At first I was sad that I couldn't get the F800GS but this lovely one gave me a lot of joy.

Today I was reading Mark Twain's "Awful German Language" book and questioning my decision to learn German 😂 According to Twain it should take 30 years to learn German, 6 is gone already. I have 24 more to go.

Why wouldn't I create an app to use it as another thing, e.g. a Stream deck.

So I started digging the plugin source code, from which I learned about HID API then found hidapi python package.

Next I will start building an app to map physical buttons to commands in OBS or any other tool. Stay tuned.

Curiosity is a rabbit hole. I have a Saitek (now acquired by Logitech) Switch Panel. And to be able to use it on Mac with X-Plane, I needed a plugin which reads USB input and redirects it into X-Plane Plugin SDK.

Then I realized I have 14 switches and a rotating button to play with.

This Yamazaki was a farewell gift from my colleagues at Zalando. That's a great whisky, reminding me of the good days at Zalando.

Product Managers in tech, MUST be able to code and SHOULD have 20% time to build their own feature prototypes. And of course they MUST be customer facing.

I have two aloe vera in my home office. Tonight they got themselves new pots. Let's see how they'll grow.

I am using an IKEA Kallax shelf to separate my reading corner from the working corner. And these sit on top of the Kallax.
