I don’t think absolute zero (human induced) emissions is possible or a reasonable goal.

Some necessary processes (eg. medical) require some emissions. They should be minimised and then offset through real measures (not fake accounting).

I’ve got news for Americans… in Australia if the budget fails to pass the politicians get a second chance. If it fails again, ALL the politicians get fired and an election is held to get representation that can negotiate properly.
