At CTE to help encourage less transport on our roads for our events, we do a car sharing & public transport lottery.
Every runner who car shared & came by public transport to the Surrey Hills Marathon was put in the "hat" & the draw was carried out by my capable assistants Gimli & MrT.

Well these are nice! The White Rhino half Marathon medal & the Black Rhino Marathon medal.
With an 8hr cut off for both races, it's a must do for everyone. Every penny in profit is split between Save the Rhino & our Charity of Liver Cancer Research.

What an amazing day yesterday was. We had a record entry field, perfect course conditions, a new course record and, best of all...no rain.

And away he goes! Alan Risk leaves Mickleham Village hall with his wife Alison on the last loop of the Copthorne 200 mile race. Just 10.3 miles to go to be the very first finisher of this event. Absolutely outstanding running from him after storm Bert decimated a very strong field of runners.
