Carbon pricing has been around since 2007. Alberta was the first to introduce it. Industry does need to be held accountable and government can also assist in carbon emission reduction with incentives. And it’s about time we diversify. We are so behind in developing alternate energy.

It’s 130 billion and Pierre is 110 billion over four years. With Pierre’s, you won’t get a tax cut for years, he’s not extending any of the social programs beyond what exist today such as daycare, dental care, Pharma care, etc. He also is not committing to giving tariff dollars back. Lose lose.

I heard what economists had to say. Specifically around planning finances based on assumed revenue. No one recommends it. And his tax cuts don’t come until year 4 and 5. Carney’s take effect July 1. You don’t need to be an economist to read.

I do, he followed every request well in advance and complied with the election laws.

I appreciate that he didn’t try to oversell a tax cut, which means that he’s thought about the budget and accounted for it.
This could mean groceries for a week for or a needed tank of gas to get to work or the ability to pay for medication for a low income person.
