The Maritime Messi will play in Ottawa (hamstrings allowing)

Indeed, but this effect exists outside the United States, as well.

Canada v Italy in Toronto sounds like fun

Aaron Judge wearing a pinstripe suit was kinda fun.

Danny Ramirez was a bright spot by a lot.

A lot of these claims get photo-verified and geo-located by independent analysts. Oryx used to do a lot of this work. Andrew Perpetua does a lot now. On days the UAF claimed 24 tanks, they'd often find geolocated photos for 22 of them. There's good reason to believe these reports are reliable.

Russian pop pyramid is rather uneven, but think that's about right.

He might be movable as part of a really big trade, like packaged with Little and Lukes for some sort of Skubal-grade player, where the other GM needed to show they were getting MLB starters back.

(That's not enough for Skubal, I'd think, but that kind of deal)

I feel they might learn not to schedule matches at that stadium.

I can see Carney shaming the NDP into supporting it.

I completely agree it would be massively controversial and argued about for ages.

No, it'd have to be disallowing the Alberta law.

Yes, it'd be shitshow with every pundit in Canada arguing about it.
November 19, 2025 at 1:43 AM
The constitution's already pretty clear on this. But he doesn't need on, disallowance hasn't been used for a century, but it still exists as a federal power.
November 19, 2025 at 1:33 AM
Carney can use the disallowance power, which is the fight Smith is probably trying to pick here.

Charlie is right that Carney should disallow, but saying it's "straightforward" blurs the big consequences of that.

I expect Sean Fraser to pop up soon and thank Scheer for the agreed upon plan to only vote when it was clear it would be useless.

Jose Bautista was a career platoon guy until he wasn't.

Yeah, Clement's post-season was probably more Pat Borders than that kind of breakout. But maybe Popkins is the right coach for him and he just needed someone to believe in him.

Some of these you haven't heard of for good reasons. Also some famous authors not listed not for their best-known book. (Larry Niven for Ringworld, for instance)

I'm not aware that Moscow makes a claim at all. The Russian independent media Mediazona maintains a list of obituaries and probate registry cases that is up to about 220k now.
November 15, 2025 at 5:49 PM
The Russians have limited logistics capacity; sufficient for a force of about 30k in the field. Each day they can gas up about 80 loaf vans and send them to the front. It's a pretty steady rate. Undocumented stuff behind front lines might be even higher, but it's undocumented, so we don't know.

Much better though than the Guatemala game. They seemed to all know the plan for playing with 10. They never looked rattled, and rarely even stressed on defense (a bit around 70')
November 14, 2025 at 5:27 AM
Waterman was unexpectedly solid. Maybe his best game for Canada.

Jayden Nelson made something of his few minutes. Surely Promise David has more to offer than Hoilett provided.

DSC looked okay on goal kicks, but zero shots on target, so the DSC vs Crepeau debate got no new information.

Wilma was great! But she wasn't the first American woman to win three gold medals in Rome (Chris von Saltza). Helene Madison also did so in 1932.
