The Siena Cathedral in Siena Italy is by far my favourite church in Italy. It is striped in alternating black and white striped marble. The flags you can see represent some of the 17 different city districts. It is magnificent. #travelmore #takethetrip #italy

There’s a little stretch of sandstone buildings in Calgary and they add such character to the skyline. #local #yyc #travelmore

What’s the first thing you do after you wake up and see this? We get ready and find a little cafe to have our cafe au lait and croissant. Tres bien! #travel #paris #findthetime

Heading into the weekend with thoughts of cobblestone streets. Maybe it’s me but I have no problem walking 15km on cobblestone streets but struggle walking 5km on Canadian sidewalks🤣 #travel #italy #buytheticketandgo

I’ve been to Pompeii twice and each time you find something new. Pay for the archeologist tour if you can. They are like a living library. This house would have been a noble home filled with sun streaming in above the “pool”. The mosaics are incredible to see. #pompeii #travelwhenyoucan

It’s not often I agree with Doug Ford but he nailed this one. We are now in the FO portion of FAFO. #teamcanada #canadastrong #fucktrump

Bath England is one of the coolest little towns to explore. The Roman baths are still there and there are lots of little shops to explore. The Bath Abbey is incredibly detailed and is a true gothic masterpiece. #jacobsladder #bath #travelmore

I’m always up for a quirky adventure when I’m travelling. When you go to Versailles to see the palace be sure to stop by and see the Royal carriage museum. #France #FrenchRev #Travel

Many people don’t like Paris but I’m not one of them. Paris is steeped in history, it has wonderful access to art and the tower is impressive. It’s fairly easy to navigate both the subway and bus system. Even with basic French the locals have been very kind in any attempt to communicate.

When travelling I always try to spend some time walking the city at night. Obviously safety is a concern and on this particular trip we opted for an escorted e-bike tour around Rome. It was one of my teen’s favourite activities. #Rome #nightadventure #travelwithkids

I do have a love affair with Italy. The people, the food, the history and the architecture. It’s my dream to live in Italy after I retire. For anyone who keeps putting off the trip, stop. Buy the ticket. Book the hotel and go. You’ll thank me later. ❤️ #italy #travel #adventure #peace

Trying to get back to the peace I feel when I’m travelling. These are the ruins of Hadrian’s villa. 120 AD. This is a UNESCO world heritage site and roughly 25 minutes from Rome. Take a day trip and add the stunning town of Tivoli and wander the gardens at Villa D’Este. #Rome #italy #ruins #travel

Siena Italy where the Palio horse race takes place each year. This horse race is a tradition that has lasted for almost 1000 years. #siena #italy #culture
