As you can see, I write a lot of these in the middle of the night (like 1 AM when I'm barely coherent 🥱)

I really went back and forth on whether Snape would end up back at Hogwarts, but as a larger plot (that we haven't hit yet in posted chapters) started unspooling, I realised I needed him there.

When I say I've been writing the Granger Girls series for 18+ months, it's because I've been writing little scenes like this since November (or in this case, December) 2023!

Of course, my understanding of the plot and characters has changed, requiring a lot of editing.
