The Unites States failed before. It even went to war - got attacked(?) after it's failure. I say this as history is full of examples of countries that appease its oligarchs, military & impoverished its population failing QUICKLY. Most famous examples: Nazi Germany, Confederate States of America.
So...if the States no longer believes in rule based order, international laws, then we no longer have to agree to international agreements with the US. Good thing China said they would step up to uphold international laws. The threat of "invasion" will disappear like stable US economic data, finance

To Democrat incumbents (especially senators like Chuck): the Epstein files may throw shade on your 2nd sell out of millions of Yanks, the off year election shows it won't save your primary. Because for days, (social) media has been asking: how are you any better than a Great Gatsby guest?

The States election showed Yanks want change, not Guilded Age. If Democrat leadership thinks the message is anti-Trump, anti-MAGA, anti-GOP, they're as wrong as the GOP, 1%. The masses want safety, stability, (DEI) EQUALITY, affordability; MAGA, GOP, 1% & Trump destroyed that in less than 10 months.

I'm iffy on Carney's budget. It'll spur (startup) investments, clean energy incentives, but makes mining & exporting oil & gas easier. Reality (from Harper to now) without affordability for those living in the lower brackets, it changes little. We are a consumer economy needing disposable cash.
