🚨 New data release from StatsCan 🚨

The federal government spent $4.1B on employee compensation in December 2024.

Since December 2023:
➡️ employee compensation increased by 5.13%
➡️ the number of employees increased by 2.95%

$243.8B has been spent on Indigenous priorities since 2014.

Annual federal spending rose from $10.3B (2014) to $63.9B (2024).

According to the latest census, the Indigenous population in Canada is ~1.8 million.
