Greg has a great store in a nice neighborhood. He's been a fixture in the Science Fiction fan community for decades. This has got to be extra troubling for him. His store was attacked, he was personally attacked, during the George Floyd troubles. Now his community is under threat again. 😭

Absolutely! It's awful how many seem to support this. I'm unable to shake my anger at the senseless violence from ICE. I'm deeply sad that all the deaths and mistreatment of immigrants got some attention, but it has taken the death of a white woman to galvanize US citizenry.

Thank you Amy! This situation is appalling. ICE should not be acting like a secret police. These people need some training and control. But that's the point, isn't it? Current administration is sowing terror.

Seriously?! I've worked in medical laboratories and have never seen blood sent for a government database. The only exception would be newborn screening blood samples that are handled with utmost attention to HIPPA Law.

They should follow Maine, which is threatening to withhold Federal Taxes. California should have a lot of leverage since they are one of the largest contributors to the Federal coffers.

These are not normal times. People need to speak up to take back our nation.

I called a relative in Canada (US citizen since birth - dual Canadian/American for ~55 yrs.) Shocked. Not only did they answer the phone, "I'm so sorry!" but I was told they plan to renounce their American citizenship. 😪

Ever since I read the news, this has been on my mind! The amount of capitulation in the past years in this country by the GOP has saddened me. Maybe now, people will find hope and resolve.
