Oh yeah I know that. For me I gotta look at it in balance. I don’t know what his politics are but he did a lot for people in my industry so I don’t care as much because his works speak for itself.
I also assume his politics is a lot more complicated to parse (like most people)

I capped it at 3 a week. I always watch one on Fridays after my DJ gig but 3 is manageable for me. I just have to constantly remind myself it’s okay pushing some to next year.

Im working on my movie schedule for next year and I’m trying to find the balance of how many I want to watch and at what point am I watching for watching’s sake.

That’s part of what the council was getting at during the funding meetings. It’s been a long problem of RideKC but it got demonstrably worse under current leadership. They won’t account for the dollars they demand and purportedly spend. At best RideKC is opaque on these things.

I absolutely agree with 2/2. It shouldn’t be solely on KCMO to shoulder the financial responsibility of a regional transit org, but part of the reason that municipalities have pulled out and KCMO gets more of the burden lately is ridership vs cost without clarity on how they got to that number.

This mostly falls on RideKC. City Council rightfully pointed out that there is no accountability in the organization and no clear understanding on how the money is spent. RideKC continually failed to look for funding sources even though they knew the COVID funds were running out.
