So much of our standard of living is from investments made 50+ yrs ago that are slowly being sold off to a PE fund in Cincinnati

Biggest problems with the economy is just inequality. Every big problem from housing, to unemployment, to inflation, is really just a problem for people that don’t already have $1M

What do you think about using wealth taxes to fight inequality?
I think you could charge a couple basis points on stocks and land. Make TFSA/RRSPs exempt. You’d basically give regular folk a discount on the assets that the uber rich use to make inequality worse
