It was here that my uncle set out on his last ever journey on his boat "Diversion", 5 years ago today, with one of his best friends. And I'm walking as close as I can to that final journey today.

And Selby! Not a new station for me, I've been a couple of times before when 155 bashing (blame @princessfluffles.bsky.social)!
Unfortunately, this is where I leave the railway for the next 5 hours! About an hour to wait now, then to Selby bus station we go!
