True, but only pushing back due to trying preemptively get out from under whatever legal consequences, should this round of fascism fails (I wish I could be more optimistic here). Not because they care the the country or anyone else in it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We would do well to quit assuming the establishment DNC somehow cares about “fighting” for anyone. They have fully leaned into the lazy political strategy of, “Brag that we aren’t fascists” and that is, firmly, it. No more, no less. They will always take getting richer over actually pushing left.

That sounds great. I’ll believe it when the DNC unapologetically pushes left and NOT towards the mythical middle. Centrism will only lead us, eventually, back to were we are now. Fascism will always be the good and logical conclusion of conservative politics. Act like it.

Look, I hope the DNC picks up lots of seats but there’s still that part of me that knows that, even if they do, they’ll likely just pUsH tO tHe MiDdLe until another group of fascists can gain power again. I’d love to be wrong.
