Terry Pratchett is such a great author. I was legitimately so sad when he died. But his books live on, and I still reread and enjoy so many of them. I still use the Sam Vimes theory of socioeconomic unfairness ft. boots to explain certain economic things to my pupils.

Expedition 33 is my favorite of the year, followed by Hades 2 and Silksong, but my fourth is a cute little farm/builder sim like Stardew Valley called Fields of Mistria. You can romance a dragon! I was immidiately in.

Also, Gavlebacken didn't burn this year, but did fall over in strong winds. What does this mean for 2026? I guess we shall find out.
