Members of the Cambridge Tephra Lab (past and present) are at the Commission of Tephrochronology meeting, Catania - COT24, this week.
The lab was busy yesterday with Geographers attending the Sutton Trust summer school. Well, they entered as Geographers, but they left as tephrochronologists! Lots of great observations and questions - these students will go far (like #tephra 😉).
