Years of FFXIV trained me on avoiding big damage zones, but thinking on it, I believe there weren't any real indicators that an ability was about to cause knockback. DBM was giving me warnings as if it was normal mode so I had a helping hand. Ashame you had a rough time of it.

Was it the phase 2 transition? I wasn't able to pahe my action bars and couldn't mount fast enough.

Took me way longer to notice them than I care to admit.

If you consistently play for longer sessions honestly I'd say it is, the reduction in size/weight is pretty incredible.

Servers were very stable into the evening, there were some issues that they had to fix early on before anyone really got to play that resulted in a character wipe, but it was 100% fine after that.

A real condemnation of their response time, if anything.

It may be because newer consoles expect the player to simply sleep the system and resume so you're not always going back to that main menu, but for setting the mood, things like the Majora's Mask intro were definitely great.
