Hard to go wrong with John Sayles. When I was in high school my mom and I used to go to see weekend matinees a LOT. This was one of them. I don’t live in the big city anymore so I don’t get to see these kinds of films in the theater anymore.

The bidet seat we have has a dryer but it doesn’t get you dry enough. I am using the cloth wipes I used with my daughter when she was a baby. I drop the used wipes in a small bin and wash with the towels. They sell small bidet towels, but you can also just use wash cloths.

I have memories of that series. The latter part of the series I was visiting Ontario for work and I was surrounded by Habs fans. Blech.

It is not common sense as it is likely to disenfranchise more eligible voters than it prevents ineligible voters from voting. It is a solution for a problem that barely exists.

Of course this is because the impacts are geographically determined. The switching acts as a compromise of sorts.

Putting aside the legality of the deportations, why is the U.S. paying for them to be jailed in El Salvador? Are they still under U.S. jurisdiction somehow? Are they going to get hearings in immigration court? WTF?

We tried this but ours absolutely refused to be medicated (liquid).

We have the same issue with our orange tabby. First we tried the pheromones plug-ins. When that didn’t help, we tried Prozac (liquid) but she proved impossible to medicate. It must taste really bad because we could not even hide it in her food.

These are the same people trying to argue that Putin invading Ukraine = Ukraine starting the war. So that tracks.

The wording here is misleading. The order is to eliminate all of the EPA’s environmental justice offices, not the broader EPA (yet, I’m sure they would like to get rid of the whole agency). The fraud charges and requests to freeze bank accounts is extremely alarming.

I mean you address problems where they actually exist. In America racism and lack of economic/political power has meant that historically environmental harms have been distributed unequally. To acknowledge this is not “DEI” or discriminatory against white people. It is all so infuriating.

Yes. I am NOT a morning person, but alas I still have to get up at 7 am. This means natural morning light is even important to me.
