Every time I find these at Goodwill stores or yard sales I grab them. I am hopeful I can collect enough of them to give each of my sons a set of 4 or 8 when they fly off to start their own homes, so the nerdy tradition of having these out at holiday dinners can continue.

It was disappointing that they didn't do more of these for the other two movies in the trilogy. I was really hopeful that Burger King might do a new line of these for The Hobbit movies, but Alas they did not. I will continue to hoard these like the nerdy book dragon that I am.

You would think they were just some cheap marketing junk for a fast food restaurant*but*the glass on these dang things is absolutely solid. Despite years of abuse/dishwasher torture they haven't cracked or chipped. I'm pretty sure these glasses will outlive us and live on as family heirlooms.
