Elon will use his govt. clout to gut regulations of his companies, to wrangle more govt. contracts, to have confidential communications with Putin, to negotiate sweet deals to benefit his interests. Etc.

$$$ to Trump, massive return on investment.

If you voted for Trump once, you were fooled. If you voted for Trump twice, you were foolish. If you voted for Trump a third time, you are a fool.

One big problem is that even if Pete actually abstains, he obviously doesn't have an issue with his associates getting shit-faced and grabbing pu**ies.

The real problem with Trump's appointments - other than not being properly vetted - is that Trump just has extremely poor judgement.
December 5, 2024 at 1:42 AM
Why aren't more people pointing out that Trump's horrible cabinet choices are a reflection of his god-awful judgment? "Best people" my foot - Trump arrogantly thinks he's better than the system of vetting and confirming qualified, not-insane people to crucial government roles. Bull. shit.

Of course Trump adamantly claimed to have nothing to do with Project 2025 - which of course was a lot of typical bullshit, but which of course his base swallowed whole. Trump totally depends on his voters being not very aware of reality.
November 23, 2024 at 5:17 AM
Trump keeps insisting that he appoints the best people. And his base keeps not noticing that he consistently appoints unqualified, unethical people. What that says about the character of Trump voters is not flattering.
November 22, 2024 at 2:49 AM
It speaks volumes about Trump's character that he always names the most unethical people he can find for crucial govt. positions, e.g DOJ - while in the next breath whining about how partisan and politicized the Dems are. Garland has politicized the DOJ? - man, his base will believe *anything.*

Trump doesn’t dare go out in public without being slathered in makeup - because he knows everyone would be turned off by his true pasty complexion and thin, limp hair - which belies his artificial, contrived macho image.

It's not the Ds who need to self-correct, it's the Rs. They can''t win elections by honest means. They have to suppress voters, gerrymander, & lie about issue after issue. They depend on their low-info base & growing network of BS media outlets pumping out misinformation, conspiracies, etc.

Harris didn’t lose because she ran a poor campaign. She lost because half of the voters are people who don’t know how the government functions, who don't pay attention to issues, and who believe lying media sources and corrupt politicians - who now plan to double-down.
November 21, 2024 at 2:53 AM
Trump was so busy babbling about Hannibal Lector and garbage trucks and french fries that very few people even noticed that he once again refused to share his tax information or his medical information. Forget about calling for him to divest from his businesses this time around.
November 21, 2024 at 2:40 AM
The saddest part of Trump’s return is that the rational half of the country is now at the mercy of people who are willfully ignorant, who don’t know how the government functions, who don't pay attention to issues, who uncritically watch propagandizing media sources, and who believe lying pols.
