Bird drama in Hyde Park this a.m. as Woodcock fell out of tree with Jackdaw (which had feathers in its beak). My daughter Amazon Rose sent me video. After a bit it flew off 🙂. Prob Scandi' bird overflying London last night dazzled by lights, seeking dark spot? @lnhs.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social

Victoria Derbyshire on @BBCNewsnight with Reform’s Zia Yusuf: “it sounds as if you are saying if you are British and you set your alarm clock you will not be affected by Reform’s cuts” ZY: “yes”. Tip to Ref: don’t let him out again. @ajpendleton.bsky.social

Q. of the day. Could Cryptosporidiosis be holding your calves back? Email with that header arrived this a.m. I took it as health clickbait re legs until I noticed it was from Farmers Weekly mag.. Campaigner tip - read trade press for the perspectives of relevant others. @tonyjuniper.bsky.social

Research quietly released by OpenAI shows Big Tech Chatbot owners could stem the flow of synth/info pollution from false 'hallucinations'. threeworlds.campaignstrategy.org?p=3492 argues this could tip politics in favour of regulating AI LLM chatbots as tragedy>> scandal @ajpendleton.bsky.social

The Tawny Owl lives in the same small patch of trees that the Jackdaws roost in. Eventually they gave up. Not sure why it’s out in daylight. It often gets mobbed at night. Wells Norfolk. @themarshtit.bsky.social @bull-of-the-bog.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social 2 of 2

Wells next the Sea Harbour with the Beaver Moon tonight. Didn’t see any beavers but to be fair I don’t think they like salt water.

LLM Chatbots don't all have to be owned by US based Big Tech or Chinese companies. Saudi & Singapore have it. In Switzerland, Imanol's team just launched Apertus, the most powerful open-source language model released by a public institution. Try it at publicai.co/apertus @ajpendleton.bsky.social
