Bird drama in Hyde Park this a.m. as Woodcock fell out of tree with Jackdaw (which had feathers in its beak). My daughter Amazon Rose sent me video. After a bit it flew off 🙂. Prob Scandi' bird overflying London last night dazzled by lights, seeking dark spot? @lnhs.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social

The tide went out at Wells next the Sea this morning. It’s now coming in again. Full Moon, big tide will cover that marsh.

Lots of Wall butterflies at North Point near Wells in Norfolk today & in our garden. About 30 pink feet geese went over - same ones here for a while? A ruff and 250 ish teal and a few wigeon. 100+ curlew on marsh. @themarshtit.bsky.social
