Made an image for a Plain Dealer Forum (opinion) section cover today, a column on what to do with the Trump ballroom after he’s gone. Pushing all the buttons.. AI-generated.

We have 80-ft maples and plenty of shorter flowering trees and bushes I’ve planted. Gotta keep the birds happy. I set out peanuts for the Jays. Much fun there.

I built the topper over the deck to give the wisteria a place to land.

On another note, outside the kitchen window where I took the first pic, we have Winter Jasmine, a climbing vine that flowers yellow pinwheels in the dead of winter. (We live just outside Cleveland so it’s a nice reprieve and burst of color). Also a good hedge if you build a trellis. This is copper.

We have a lot that hits late year, like the Christmas cactus. It’s all my wife’s care for these. I just get to enjoy and appreciate her attention to these things. The Summer deck plants that have to come in and keep blooming.. it’s like they’re saying “thanks for keeping us out of the cold.”

Next batch of paperwhites: set in water atop glass marbles or pebbles, they root and then come out into the light and shoot up.

You can say the Dems blinked first, but it's not a fair contest when the person on the other side has a nictitating membrane.

About 10 years ago I illustrated an Al Kamen column for the Washington Post where he checked off the things Trump said he would do if he was elected. Cap the oil leak, find bin Laden. One question was how might he change the footprint of the White House, so I drew a tower behind it. And here we are.

Soloyov raised a son who lives and models in London, hasn’t joined the special operation and best of all appears to love European freedom to be whatever he is. And it's been said that Soloyov gets a little pissed when it's pointed out his offspring is a draft-dodger.

There’s just something about how coarse this is being done. Roll up a Volvo backhoe and just claw away at the building. Raw, exposed.. I would think the contractor has a plan but this seems so indelicate.. just rip and tear into the building and let it be seen as so.. wounded. #EastWing
