she/her, i like photography, vintage electronics, and archiving old computer programs and documents. I’m currently learning 6502 assembly and ANSI C so i can make new apps and games for devices 15-20 years older than me :)
I got a Macintosh IIx at VCF SW, and restoring it is going pretty well! I saw two people open it, wince, and put it back down at the free table, so I figured it would be a fun repair :)
I’ll likely have to do some trace repairs, but I want a IIx enough that that doesn’t phase me :)

They’re not as good as some of my other photos of this area since these are from my phone and not my DSLR, but I have some photos of neon signs I’ve come across a few times :)

I got mine from my cousin after she replaced it when I was 3 (2004) and I used it for about 5 years. It was a 500 MHz Snow iMac G3, with the 30 GB hard drive and 128 MB (later 384 MB) of RAM. I learned to use it quickly, and immediately fell in love with computers :)

I don’t have a super pretty or decorated setup yet, it’s still a work in progress, but it lets me archive software and repair vintage computers like my Mac IIci :)
The white/pink desk holds my modern stuff, the rolling shelf holds projects, and the brown desk holds my archiving and retro computers!
