It’s a choice. My father was raised by an abusive alcoholic father & a mentally unstable alcoholic mother who divorced my grandfather in abt 1935. My father joined the Navy & became a decorated pilot in the Korean War. He was a kind, gentle, responsible father & husband who was well loved by all.
