Agreed. Didn’t even know CWC was coming to Seattle until a few months ago. Been looking forward to the WC for the better part of a decade.

That resulted in a more democratically created policy than anything that passes a legislature or council. If you want real change, do as @jacobinmag.bsky.social says, look to your local initiatives.

I’d love to hear their ideas for pedestrian safety on MLK! I’m sure I’m far from the only person to care about this, but there are so many dangerous intersections and cars drive insanely fast especially from rainier on south
