I'm a UXUI designer @ Star Trek Online (DECA Games). I love illustrating, sewing and finding new ways of creating things. She/her
What a great challenge, I learned so much! I can't stop drawing
It's essential to allow yourself to make mistakes, explore, pay attention to what brings us joy in creating, and stop repeating the things we already do well just for the satisfaction of doing it right♥️

I drew one point at a time, all of its frames. I didn't know which points were going to appear; each one was incorporated naturally.

And that's where I'm at. My last one was another frame-by-frame animation, but going back to oil pastels, I felt like a little girl making this one. I really enjoyed it.

I made these paper stars for another project, scanned them, edited them, and liked the result.

Well, I discovered something really interesting here: combining stitches with paper.
I want to explore this technique in depth.
Here is my first sewn illustration of a spider web.

Another frame-by-frame animation.
I've been wanting to try using stencils, sponges, and acrylic paint to create something for quite some time, and this was the perfect opportunity.
It was a lot of work, but I love the result.

This is when I started combining prompts, drawing every day began to feel like an uphill battle. I used hatch, which is a drawing technique that consists of lines or dots to create shadows and volume, with a whistle.

What a strange aspect ratio, right? I wanted to try out the mega horizontal posts that Instagram suggested, and I took advantage of it to make this loooooong fish. Probably my first and list time using this aspect ratio haha

The output doesn’t reflect the amount of work it took me haha but most time that’s the case right?

Ooh, this one was really hard for me. I was very indecisive between making a marble or the texture of marble. I'm not a fan of the result, but I really enjoyed the acrylic brushstrokes I did for the background. I superimposed tracing paper and drew the cracks with ink on top.

I didn't get around to making a final piece for this one, so I'm sharing the sketches of ideas I had when I thought of this word.

I had so much fun with this one! I made it in Procreate. I'll leave the video of the process in the next comment.

Lately, I can't stop drawing centipedes made of dice! I don't know why or where it came from, but here it is 🎲🐛

Ugh not in love with this one… really satisfying though to fill things with an opaque color ♥️
It's okay that sometimes we don't like what we do. What we produce does not define us, neither when we think we've failed, nor when we create something we believe to be wonderful
(Not my bg)

Again with the frame by frame animation, it takes so much time but I found it meditative 🧘🏽♀️
(If I upload a video BS doesn’t allow me to post more than one visual, im leaving photos on the next post)

For this one, I chose collage. I painted tracing paper with the colors I needed and cut them out to make strawberries 🍓

I recently bought a used printer on Facebook Marketplace. Only the scanner works... but that's okay, it was all I needed! I'm obsessed with scanning images and textures... I also love frame-by-frame animation, so here's the result (it was better with music)

This is when I free myself from my own constraints and allow myself to start using other materials. I still use oil pastels, but I add ink and markers 🖍️
