Feeling inspired by Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party.” Is it too soon to expect people to be able to have uncomfortable, yet civilized, conversations face-to-face?

Time to start pressuring our republican state senators to demand that they don’t confirm some of these cabinet nominations!
The question is: do we lump-sum the nominees in one call, or flood the call logs by negating one candidate at a time?

I have been feeling so guilty for resting on the laurels of the educated upper class, often dismissing those I disagree with as not being in touch with reality and the direction the world is moving towards. I believed that the majority opinion would ultimately succeed in safeguarding our democracy.
