After selling my 3 most valuable Pokémon cards, I was able to afford the single most expensive Lego set I’ve ever owned.
I’ve also discovered that the Kokiri Forest theme on the Nintendo Music app makes for great background music while building.
Birdie and I are VERY excited for this one.

I know it’s just a piece of cardboard and capitalism has led me to have feelings about it as a symbol of my childhood or whatever, but I can’t help but feel sad about saying goodbye to a card that feels like a symbol of Pokémon fandom of that first era of Pokémon games.

Being unemployed and excited about a new Zelda game has me thinking entirely too much about UI, control schemes, and item selection for Zelda games and how they’ve changed from the GameBoy days.
