Had a similar experience on the Williamstown line in Melbourne once, but with Harold Bishop

Obvs the talent drop off is big, but at the same time they're blooding players and you can see clear improvement in their game already.

And seriously, who would you trust to reshape a wounded pack, Smith's coaching setup or Townsend's?

Yep, we do, but we should be reaching higher with the players available.

Toony's main problem, other than his unrepentant stubbornness/inability to learn lessons, is in a nation of 3 head coaches, he's a clear 2nd best.

If the SRU sit on their hands, Smith could be a hell of a coup for the WRU

Yes it's not the same size of pool, but it's not tiny either. When you've left a raft of in form players out (especially Horne and Turner), that's on the coaches head.

Also the weak pack argument doesn't hold water when Glasgow are monstering teams on the regular. Time is well and truly up

We've gone out of 2 WC group stages, repeated 6N failures with the best Scottish team in memory, and he's stubbornly refusing to pick in form Warriors players who won the league against the SA and Irish.

We can do much better, and it'd be nice for the SRU to not mess this transition up

I know it's another podcast (soz) but the Slow Newscast from Tortoise went into detail on this very thing in Europe.

The Rogue Agents ep from last week if anyone is interested

I know he was also a dick, but I sorta miss Sepp. Less cringe at the very least

Something on footballers believing their own hype and that 1st half from Alexander-Arnold just gone. Connor Bradley a shoe in for when he returns?

Took the kids to see Moana last weekend and accidentally sat in a Wicked screening.

One of them had a tantie when he saw the title card, the other a tantie at the prospect of moving to Moana. By the end both loved it, cracking movie!
