As are any songs. Also, many artist didn't write the "original" songs they sung either. I don't think that is reason to exclude them.

I reckon the higher we get in the count, the less the number matters. I am truly glad this made it, it deserves to be be in the list.

I reckon these types of countdowns need to be viewed differently... I think it as 100 songs that you could put on shuffle. The order isn't as important as the song just making the list. Having said that, I find myself reacting when something is too low/high at times.

Yeah, voting was an impossible task. Voting was too short a period, but even then I could have put in 10 sets of votes and argued with myself about every single one.

Reread your post, 'novelty countdown' not song. I don't mind these. Doesn't hurt to remind the breadth of Aussie music though.
