No reason was just wary of the VCBC being wrongly accused as being the establishment as "Victoria Inn" was ambiguous. But sounds like you're saying it was them which is very disappointing to hear.

Seems unlikely for them to have bouncers and also to take this line but unsure what other pub it could be. I'm from Halifax.
