Sunny day in Stranraer today campaigning for our by-election candidate @michaelhavard.bsky.social

Folk in Stranraer are demanding change. For too long communities have been cut off and left out, but the Scottish Greens are delivering for people and planet by building a fairer, greener, Scotland

Great to be out in East Kilbride today with @southlangreens.bsky.social friends. Lots of good conversations and great to have local Cllr @krobbgreen.bsky.social on hand for doorstep casework!

Plenty of folk looking forward to electing a Green MSP in South Scotland next May 💪

Every week a Palestine solidarity vigil is held in Dumfries.

I was glad to be there today. On the anniversary of the bombing if Nagasaki we say once more say “never again”.

But for how much longer do we have to say “never again” before it truly means the end of violence and genocide on Earth.

Voting opens today in the Scottish Greens Holyrood candidate selections.

I am standing to be South Scotland's next Green MSP, and I ask members to vote Cameron Garrett #1 to make that possible.

We need Green MSPs to deliver a fairer, greener Scotland, and I am ready to take that on.

Greens in Parliament scrapped the SQA. I am proud to have worked with them on the Education Bill to turn a page in Scottish education.

There is no doubt that Greens hugely strengthened the Bill, proving that Greens deliver.

I am ready to continue building a fairer Scotland as an MSP.

I am standing to be South Scotland's next Green MSP - so it's time I introduce myself!

I bring a track record of delivery to this contest - both in Parliament with Green MSPs and in my local community

So, for a candidate who will deliver for our region - Vote Cameron Garrett #1

Our movement is powered by people - I'm proud to have played my part in building the Green movement in D&G.

I am standing to be South Scotland's next Green MSP - but I want to hear from our members about your vision for South Scotland.

My DMs are open - so please get in touch.

I am running to be South Scotland's next MSP.

Green voices in Parliament make a difference. But our planet is aching and our society is broken, so we need to accelerate our work to build a fairer, greener Scotland.

Vote Cameron Garrett #1 to deliver the bold action that our communities need.

Dumfries and Galloway Greens ( @dggreens.bsky.social ) have been out in Gatehouse today speaking to residents (human and cat) preparing for next year’s Scottish Parliament elections.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to have some fruitful discussions with us.

All eyes on the freedom flotilla. Overnight Israel have committed yet another war crime. The UK have a legal obligation to act.

The Scottish Government gives millions to the companies supporting Israeli genocide. This has to end.

The Scottish Government have caved into wealthy land owners, putting their interests ahead of local communities and Galloway’s natural environment.

A hammer blow once again delivered to south west Scotland.

The Galloway National Park is in danger.

National Parks should drive sustainable inward investment which supports local communities, the local economy and public services.

But the Scottish Government have caved, and the plans for Galloway look set to be scrapped.

We're now less than a year away from the 2026 Scottish Parliament election - and @dggreens.bsky.social are hitting the ground running.

We're ready to elect a Green MSP for South Scotland 💪

The future of Loch Lomond is at stake - but it doesn't have to be this way.

✅ The Scottish Government has finally adopted the @scottishgreens.org policy of permanently removing peak time rail fares from Scotland’s railways.

🚉 Making rail travel more affordable is crucial to cutting daily costs for commuters and driving down car usage.

A Galloway National Park can:
🌲 Support climate and nature
⏫ Boost economic investment and jobs in local communities
🏘️ Tackle the housing crisis
🚎 Enable investment in public transport

✍️ That is what D&G Greens’ response submitted to the GNP consultation outlines. Read more below.

Toasting the first week of the Glen Sannox with a Calmac breakfast (minus the bacon which they didn’t have)

Embarrassed for @scottishlabour.bsky.social today as they abstain on Stage 1 of the Education Bill.

They seem to support abolishing the SQA, but not the vessel to do so?

The bill isn’t perfect, but if you are serious about reform you should bring ideas to the table, not bite the hand that feeds.

Don't let @thesnp.bsky.social fool you. Today they have cut general funding to Scotland's local authorities, and increased ring fencing across the board. This is not on.
December 4, 2024 at 3:57 PM
Not sure how the Scottish Government intends to lift children out of poverty whilst seemingly cutting funding for Free School Meals expansion🤔

Showing international solidarity with the Tibetan struggle is crucial to protecting human rights, democracy, and freedom in Tibet.

It was an honour to host members of Tibetan Parliament-In-Exile in the Scottish Parliament this week to strengthen information sharing, development, and cooperation.

This morning, not only do I have to pay more for my train with the return of peak fares, but there often isn’t enough seats for everyone.

@thesnp.bsky.social are failing to make rail accessible, while @scottishgreens.bsky.social want to ditch both peak rail fares and first class on trains for good.
