A month ago I decided that I need new music to listen to while working. So I composed, recorded, and kind of edited it (still learning). Now I have a playlist. If I continue this way, my PhD will have a soundtrack 🫠

Whenever I say I play the piano, people seem to think of that as something overly serious, but in reality, most of the time I sit down and improv for an hour or more. No words. No pressure. Just me in a quiet room that gets filled with whatever sound I fancy in that moment.

It has been a week since I got accepted into a PhD program. Since then, my juniors have sent me three requests for samples of my work, three requests to review their work, and two requests for meetings 🫠

First month of 2025 is done. Made an ungodly amount of Uber Eats orders. Finished editing, submitted and defended my master’s thesis. I hear others say it was good. Got accepted into a PhD program.
