Pepper's Ghost works well enough even without a bell jar, so I can order one tomorrow, and then look at how I'm going to paint the box to look appropriate for the illusion.

Decided I'm taking Halloween seriously this year (first time in almost a decade), so a Paisley Abbey Xenomorph Gargoyle and a Pepper's Ghost are getting made.

No shading, but I drew a head and shoulders, having this concept of an alternative version of R.Mika currently feels easier than coming up with original characters right now, so just going with it while it keeps my interest. #art #streetfighter #wrestling #gamedev

Having reference layers you can just basically use as proportion guides just feels easy mode, difference between traditional, needing to actually draw, and digital being able to use reference layers is night and day. I might just stick with digital for a while.

It seems appropriate that the first thing I print with the new printer is Porygon, I like the idea of taking something intended to be purely digital, and making a physical object from it. This one will get painted.

The state of my living room at almost 9pm at night, multiple windows open, multiple fans switched on. Top floor in direct sunlight is not a great combo in this heat
