Watching the 2025 Orioles season play out and then developing a plan that requires people to commit even MORE money and time to hang onto their season tickets for next year is (as is oft remarked to Cotton) a bold strategy.
The Orioles are rolling out modified season ticket packages for Birdland Members beginning with the 2026 campaign, and with them comes the introduction of 20-game and 40-game ticket packages in place of the former 13-game and 29-game plans. www.thebaltimorebanner.com/sports/oriol...

Do you like the idea of the Orioles drafting a college hitter with one of the worst batting averages of any first round pick in 40+ years? In the latest round of mock drafts, that's who two outlets have the O's taking:

The last week in the Orioles minors saw good things from a prospect everyone knows (Samuel Basallo), from ones you might soon know (Luis Almeyda, Nate George), and from a few you probably don't know at all. Rundown of the latest from the farm:
This week in the Orioles minors: Basallo keeps hitting, Delmarva welcomes new arrivals
Less exciting, a trio of pitchers hit the IL for Chesapeake, though reportedly none are expect to miss major time.

Amazingly, the Orioles actually have someone leading his position in All-Star voting. It only took that crazy Devers trade for Ryan O'Hearn to lead AL DHs in the first batch of results. How about that? Things also look good for Jackson Holliday early on:
Ryan O’Hearn leads AL designated hitters in first All-Star voting results
I thought this was impossible, and I was wrong.

The Orioles needed their offense to do good things this year and until lately it wasn't coming through. Our @tyleryoung.bsky.social writes about how important it is for Mike Elias that things come together and stay together for this group of bats:
Mike Elias needs the Orioles offense to produce, and it finally has
It may be too little to late to make a playoff push in 2025, but a rejuvenated offense could save the GM’s job.

Several Orioles righty bats who've been injured are making their way back soon. They weren't much good against LHP before getting hurt. Any chance they can improve things now?
Can getting healthy fix the Orioles’ woes against left-handed pitchers?
With Jordan Westburg, Tyler O’Neill and Gary Sánchez set to return soon, Baltimore will hope to reset a team that is historically bad against lefties.

It's a steep hill for the Orioles to climb to get back to contention. Our @tyleryoung.bsky.social writes that it's going to take a lot more from the offense to get them there:
The Orioles’ only path back to contending requires more from their offense
Things have been improving for the Orioles lineup, but they remain far short of what their expectations were coming into the season.
