2018-2022 were all really easy choices for me. 23 was hard, and now 24 is too. Most of my top albums last year were not from 2024.

Finished Practicing History by Barbara Tuchman last night. Dated and forgettable. I loved A Distant Mirror but it seems like her strength as a writer was writing thick, well-researched pop history books, not being a public intellectual.

I feel kind of bad skipping exercises like this because the math/graphics stuff seems interesting, but WHY are these the exercises for the Basic Data Types chapter.
