Are these issues that only affect/will only ever affect 50s-born women? Could our nation make better use of our money by improving support for all those caught in the trap of poor pensions/caring responsibilities/ill health that many of us experience at 60+?

I don't think the article is making a strong argument for that particular section of women. I think the gen public would be more sympathetic if WASPI campaign was clearer.

So why not campaign for that narrow band of women (born over a 28 month period in the mid-50s), rather than for the whole cohort, very many of whom were aware, and were not disadvantaged?
