Students in private schools do still get #CareerGuidance.
Only those in English state schools lost guaranteed access.

It harmed our #SocialMobility & #AccessToTheProfessions

#CareerGuidance in school gives young people understanding of the landscape of work, how to enter employment, what different degrees lead to, etc.
It gives them confidence & hope.

The Careers & Enterprise “Company” (CEC) has not delivered.
Some students in state schools in England get a #CareerGuidance session, others do not.
It promises/boasts a lot to government, but delivers little to young people: just ask YP.
CEC just extracts the ££ which should be spent on students.
