Personally I think this is perfectly fine at lower brackets and people ought to be a little more whimsical about zhao’s dastardly scheme to turn all your non basics into mountains. It’s much easier to get around than blood moon and functionally comes down much later so I see it as fair game.

One of the funnier implications if this ends up happening is being able to play Evelyn in mono black or rakdos vampires which whips ass

is more so because of WotC’s active decision to push more UB than UW and less because of the actual mechanics on the cards.

I think from a pure gameplay and deckbuilding perspective a deck with no universes beyond cards within it is no different then a deck missing cards with the letter “A” it’s an arbitrary restriction you could apply to your deck but I don’t think it affects gameplay much. Most of the frustration-
