Just looked at a position for a copy editor. This was at the bottom.

We've known for a while that 90% of resumes (as of last year - might be even higher now) aren't read by a human; that's not new.

But I feel like it IS new for a company to actually admit it.

I see this repeated constantly. The idea that people who actually know how to write MUST be using AI is *incredibly offensive*.

We can't escape this disease. Even when we refuse to use it, said refusal has somehow become proof that we're doing it.
