Midweek music mention: I saw Deep Purple again this month (52 years after the first time!) and was impressed by current guitarist Simon McBride, so invested in his latest album under his own name, titled The Fighter. Well worth a listen, in my opinion.

My first music recommendation on this platform takes me back to the prog rock I adored particularly in the ‘70s - but this album was released in August this year. Jon Anderson (Yes, Vangelis, etc) turned 80 last month but I’m loving True by Jon Anderson & the Band Geeks.
