At this rate, it’ll be another manager out the door

Well Max only drove the car for AD 21. As much as I don’t agree with what happened, at the same time Max isn’t to blame for what transpired.

Ultimately when you’ve got drivers you hold in that regard, saying that Max is already one of the greats then there’s a weight to that… regardless of our

Max drove the most successful season in f1 history, I just don’t think that’s possible if you’re not up there with those names.

I mean Senna had only Prost for one, then Bergher for his other two… let’s just say he wasn’t that good ha.

You could say Barichello was more like a Bottas, yet Schumacher is still regarded as up there with Lewis regardless.

Everyone is beatable and that 100% includes Max.

But as it shouldn’t be hard to admit that, it shouldn’t be hard to admit that he is one of those generational drivers and he is for the most of the time, just that good.

Hadjar is easily the standout rookie this year, I’d say maybe Bearman close to him.

And it’s going back to Red bull’s old way of recognising faster and younger talent, instead of leaving okay drivers in purgatory.

Even he came out this week and said he’s beatable, but it’s interesting you mention the other lot

Because I think this is where a lot of this comes in… the second drivers at Red Bull, aren’t at the level that those guys are. And I think that’s something Meckies has rectified for 26

I mean I get for some men it must be hard, but surely knowing she’s happy and he’s good to her must be the most important thing.

Then again some blokes like the idea of having kids, but not the idea of raising them.

Rosberg 2016*
December 7, 2025 at 7:20 PM
I mean I remember Lewis out qualifying Bottas by 1.4 seconds at the Syrian gp

Button 6 tenths 2012

Rosberg 5 tenths Monza 2012

Schumacher used to do the same

There’s a reason, these guys win multiple WDC’s… they’re just that good.

Well we say beat, Dani only beat him in the H2H in 2016… the season in which Max swapped mid season.

Max beat Dani in races and quali H2H in both 2017 & 18…. He was also still a teen throughout those years. www.formula1.com/en/latest/ar... just so you don’t think I’m chatting 💩 haha.
How Verstappen’s past team mates fared against him
Having achieved four World Championships, 63 wins, 113 podiums and 40 pole positions during his 10 years in Formula 1 so far, Max Verstappen has ensconced himself amongst the most successful drivers i...

See for me I believe it comes down to his style.

And this year’s Ferrari stint, certainly isn’t anything to go by… that Ferrari was shocking.

Alonso, still putting in some good results.

If Lewis can put some podiums together, and the odd win… then it might keep that fire burning.
