Good call. Used to always make me laugh with their pretend accents

Fortnum and Masons is probably too shabby for him!
February 13, 2026 at 3:18 PM
But will you or will you forget like you normally do?
February 11, 2026 at 5:42 PM
Clearly forgot it’s not hard to keep receipts!
February 8, 2026 at 8:25 PM
Or possibly plan to Govern whilst planning to campaign. Thinking through every promise they make.
February 8, 2026 at 6:51 PM
I loved this piece. It confirmed what I thought. Also dented my belief in Jon Cruddas. He’s an intelligent man so how did he believe it?
February 8, 2026 at 3:08 PM
Great! So someone the public doesn’t know! But also someone with zero Ministerial experience. They really are deluded fools!
February 6, 2026 at 12:10 AM
I’m coming to the conclusion that the start is what Starmer believes and the latter is an advisor just making sure their views are included. It’s not good enough anymore!
February 5, 2026 at 11:39 AM
Whoever writes for him needs to watch Frozen, “Let it Go, Let it Go”. Your actual voters believe in fairness for everyone, not the mythical Reform Voter. Appeasing the latter makes the core go away. And they’re the people that make the party work!
February 5, 2026 at 11:37 AM
You beat me to it. But I would also add Johnson proved the system is flawed. Too many things relied on people doing the honourable thing
February 4, 2026 at 10:58 PM
Wow! Just wow! I guess he didn’t fly EasyJet into Geneva and got the train.
February 4, 2026 at 9:22 PM
Did they do the annoying survey? I refused to do them as even if they were going to vote for your party when they answered the door they wouldn’t by the end!
February 3, 2026 at 11:16 AM
@mrjamesob.bsky.social viz and Brexit combined!
February 2, 2026 at 12:57 PM
@mrjamesob.bsky.social unhinged headline
January 29, 2026 at 2:55 PM
In fairness, he’s also set himself up. Ask him the question about his Dad going to Uni.
January 28, 2026 at 8:09 AM
That’s a long way from Salford! Also what food was he delivering? Food deliveries were not that common back then. I sense people need to dig into that. Also did he have his own car?
January 27, 2026 at 10:45 PM
His Dad had obtained a MBA from a UK uni in 1986 so around the time he left the family. He was at Uni when he was still living at home. He can play all the mental gymnastics he likes but “was your dad registered at a Uni when you lived with him?” He can say he didn’t go into Uni but really?
January 27, 2026 at 8:10 PM
Hold on! He started his PhD in 1997. Goodwin was 16. He never said he was a prodigy. So it’s nonsense he was the first in his family to go to Uni unless his Dad got a PhD without attending Uni which is incredibly impressive.
January 27, 2026 at 7:41 PM
He left academia so any studying he’s doing is the same as someone collecting stamps. That’s not impartial reporting, that’s wrong!
January 27, 2026 at 6:47 PM
But Mr 0% doesn’t know how to do anything else. His stats are shocking, he fought the rightwing! Yeah, their vote went up it’s just a General Election meant everyone else voted and drowned them out!
January 25, 2026 at 8:40 PM
Is is it Starmer though? Or is it the “genius” behind him? I think Burnham would be better, mainly because he’d surround himself with competent people. I backed him years ago and he’s a fellow bluenose. But seriously, if Starmer doesn’t change his key advisor, he has to go!
January 25, 2026 at 8:37 PM
No! He needs to look around the room. “Who is still here, who we had when we first showed we couldn’t get the Politics right?” Then get rid of the person who clearly blames everyone else. Then get someone competent who has done something real, not a myth, in and see how it goes!
January 25, 2026 at 8:34 PM
I just don’t get Starmer. He’s clearly an intelligent man. But he always seems to listen to the 0%er who makes the wrong decision. Everyone can see the problem but Starmer. It’s so frustrating as we need Labour to be a success for countries sake!
January 25, 2026 at 1:18 PM
Was compelling listening but heartbreaking!
January 24, 2026 at 12:18 PM
The sacrifices people would make avoiding the Fillet o Fish. Can hardly see a boycott hurting profits either!
