I think here it's C. Like attorney-client privilege, it makes sense that clergy-penitent privilege would apply to all statements made in confidence unless an argument was made specifically to breach that privilege.

In this conversation, Martha told Alberto in confidence that the chairs she received were fully functional but that she learned one of Comfort 4 U’s competitors offered a lower price and wanted to get out of her contract with the company. Martha’s attorney immediately objects on the basis of clergy-penitent privilege. How should the court rule on the objection?
