Whilst in the background as quietly and carefully as possible slowly decoupling all military links with the US. These are all things Starmer can do right now.

I'm not sure if there is a complete answer right now but surely a partial answer exists which starts with: "today my chancellor will announce an immediate defence and security tax to meet the ongoing challenges this country faces..." "We will completely overhaul defence procurement..."

I'm pretty online, but somehow this show has completely passed me by as I guess absolutely tons of other shows have too. But I don't think that could have happened 10 years ago.

A 15 second tiktok clip of two women shouting at each other catches my eye and after a few minutes of googling I've now binged the first 6 episodes of this amazing show. And it feels like this amazing exciting discovery to me, even though it's won a ton of Emmys.

Not even Spaghetti westerns? The dollars trilogy are great films.

Can't stop laughing at MI6 letting a hotelier run a massive spy ring (that only works at night!) ahahahaha.

All logic and reason has been jettisoned in favour of explosions and massive conspiracies. It goes to show just how unbelievably good Le Carré was.

Wow it is SO BAD. It immediately abandons all the good bits from season 1, just to get Hiddlestone back on the screen ASAP (no matter how improbabley).

OMG I've just had the strongest flashback to being off sick from school, staying with my Italian grandparents and watching this dubbed into Italian on Rai 1.

What I don't understand is how Starmer could be the head of the CPS for 5 years and be this bad at leadership. Surely being in charge of 6000 people taught him a few things. Or was he just equally terrible there?

When footballers hear racist chants they walk off the pitch, they don't keep playing to "dilute the racism". Walk off the pitch James! Playing on just serves the Fascists.

The difficulty definitely smooths out for a while, but I feel like I've hit a second difficulty curve with lots of tight spaces and double damage foes. Also, don't know if it's just me, but the game seems to be really stingy with Rosaries. Never remember having to farm enemies like this in HK.

Whenever anyone is talking about going to or having been to see a doctor I have to physically restrain myself from saying "All the best doctors are in the gulag or dead."

Hard agree, although the modern innovation of pairing the fireworks display to a local radio playlist can absolutely do one. I just want the bangs and whizzes, I don't need it to be choreographed to Don't Stop Me Know.

100% it's not shabby. Especially when you compare it to most of the biggish towns around the UK. I live in Northampton and commute to London a few times a week. The difference is night and day. I love Northampton, it's my home town, but the decline has been VERY noticeable.

I agree it's probably made City less dislikeable (although the overall City project is incredibly dislikeable), but it has made them and the Premier League WAY more boring. I adored Roy Kean partly because he WAS controversial and contrarian (he was also just absolutely brilliant)
