How are they supposed to come close to it if they have to give up before they come close to it?

I have a couple, but Aurora Notifier seems the most reliable for Ireland. Set it to notify you when the KP score reaches at least 8.0 and you’ll have a pretty good chance - they can’t really predict much more than 30 mins ahead anyway.

Would've been a great cover for a Mr Benn game.

The most exciting thing about F1 is definitely when they reveal a bunch of corporate logos on a car that won’t be used.

Never occurred to me that it wouldn’t be, but then again, I still imagine all new films being shot on 35mm today 😀 (And weirdly, I prefer almost all the 35mm shots in the comparison images in that article.)

True. You can definitely turn off Google’s nagging for reviews in your Google account settings, though, and indeed your entire Maps location history.

That’s the most frustrating thing about this. There was no need to edit it the way they did, it was plenty bad enough already.

Celeb Traitors, the final was the most-viewed episode of TV this year by miles.

Celeb Traitors, pulled in over 11m live viewers for the final (and doubtless more to come on catch-up).

Yay, more landfill.

The Badger brewery owned Panda at the time, then sold it to the Vimto folk in the early 2000’s.

I still can’t believe anyone was fooled by this, it was bleedin’ obvious at the time (even if you hadn’t seen it advertised as a “Screen One Special Drama” in the Radio Times, which I hadn’t).

There is not a chance he, Trump, or anyone else with that amount of money and connections will ever be punished for anything.

I know a lot of people found this sort of content “wacky” and “funny”, but I hated it 😐

They shouldn’t. Leave them in Muskland and Zuckworld where we don’t have any chance of seeing them.

“this feels like a helpful use of Gemini’s capabilities that doesn’t take money out of anyone’s pocket or destroy anyone’s livelihood”

Just the planet, then. Ace.

I dunno, still tastes way nicer than anything with gin in it.

Maybe, but I would also expect a teacher to have a pretty good handle on what the kids they’re teaching say and think.

I think I’m probably biased towards engaging in Mastodon because I’d like it to succeed and grow. I couldn’t really care less whether Bluesky does.

Hmm. Think I’ll stick with my actual DS Lite.

Three stars was pretty generous. It was terrible, even when it wasn’t crashing every five minutes.
